Locations & Activities...

Starting at 12pm, our young fishers, families, and friends can dive into a full afternoon of activities — from fishing and cooking demos to real-life sea experiences, fishing tutorials, charter boat trips, and competitions with amazing prizes donated by Rockfish!

Then, join us at 5pm at The Fortescue Inn for our presentations, where we’ll celebrate the day and hand out prizes!

We’re so grateful to our title sponsor, Tide Competitions, and to our incredible community supporters — RNLI Salcombe, Fortescue Inn, The Kings Arms, Salcombe Harbour, Rockfish, Salcombe Angling & our amazing local fisherman all listed below!— for making this all possible!

What this day means to us!...

“We’re so excited to bring our Community Fishing Day to Salcombe this half-term. It’s going to be a brilliant afternoon for young fishers and their families — getting hands-on, learning new skills, and celebrating our amazing fishing community. With so much local support, it’s shaping up to be a fantastic day for everyone involved.”
